A massive thank-you to all you folk that attended our 1st birthday celebrations. Without you lot, we wouldn’t have made it so far. We look forward to serving you for many years to come! Thanks also to Porter’s for the pork pies, Polly and Penny for all the yummy cakes and to everyone who contributed prizes for the raffle in aid of Beaumond House Community Hospice. Hope the hangover wasn’t too bad!
Settling down
Well, it’s just over two weeks since we opened and the dust is settling. Our first customer, who came in the pub a mere 20 seconds after we opened on August 4th was Mr Keith Wortley from Whitwick, Leicestershire. Since then, we have sold around 40 real ales from 36 different breweries. Thanks to everybody who has supported us so far, and we hope to see you drinking in Just Beer again soon.
Great start
Just Beer has received favourable comment from all who have visited. We have served 21 different real ales in less than a week since we opened, and for that we thank all our customers so far. A feature was printed in the local paper and can be seen here.
