Dark brown. Traditional London Porter, rich dark and complex, the beer has an outstanding depth of flavour.
Pale. Fruits, floral notes, earthy and grassy. Ends in a very big bitterness.
BURNSIDE (Laurencekirk, Aberdeen: 2010)
Wild Rhino Blonde 4.3%
Pale. Lightly malted, hoppy, fruity with a bit of citrus.

Stiff Upper Lip 3.8%
Golden. Well balanced mellow malt gives a rich body whilst Sonnet hops give a wonderfully late fresh citrusy finish.    .

Amber. Sweetish caramel and toffee undertones. Lightly hopped.

Black. A traditional stout, slightly bitter with a hint of chocolate and a distinct coffee aftertaste.

Golden. Fruity, herbal and quite bitter hoppiness with some earthy and mild crisp malt balance.
MITHRIL (Aldbrough St John, N. Yorks: 2010)

Golden. Dry bitterness, with a lingering citrus & spicy hop taste & aroma.

Death or Glory 7.2%
Dark brown. Toffee/caramel sweetness and some fruity malt. Nutty, dark fruits come out. Light hop presence.

Amber. Distinct fruitiness with a robust hop flavours from Cascade and Northdown hops leading to a clean finish.

Golden. Peachy with hints of citrus. Good hoppy bitter finish.
► Northallerton Dark Ale 4.4%
Brown. Sweetish and malty but well balanced with a good hop character.

Black. A rich, dark stout with a fruity, roasted malt aroma and taste, and a liquorice finish.
